Re-align the Nabhi Chakra

The Nabhi Chakra can be got in place by any one of below four methods. Note that this needs to be done only in the mornings and that too on an empty stomach. These need to be done while lying down on your back. Take the help of someone if needed to assist you in these activities.
1. If the Nabhi Chakra is displaced by a small distance then push it towards the navel.
2. Apply pressure on the navel and then press the Nabhi Chakra downwards at an angle towards the navel.
3. After lying down keep your hands besides your body (at your sides)[image]. Ask someone to give pressure on your knees. More pressure on the knee whose toe is higher (as though you are trying to push it down). Also ask the person to pull the big toe which is lower by hand so as to get the toes in level. Repeat 2-3 times until the toes are level.
4. Keep a small oil lamp or candle (be careful not to get burnt with the hot wax or oil) on your navel. Take a metal glass with the edges coated with oil (we need to make it relatively airtight and oil will ensure it sticks to your body when vaccum is created. Light the oil lamp or the candle and cover it with the metal glass. This will ensure that the flame burns out and the oxygen is removed creating a low pressure. This will try to lift the Nabhi Chakra towards the center. Slowly lift it upwards to extend the upwards lift of the low pressure inside the metal glass. Repeat this about 4 times.

Nabhi Chakra

Nabhi Chakra (also called as the Circle of Navel or the solar plexus) is a part of the spiritual Chakra or the circles present in the human body. For all organs below the diaphragm we need to apply acupressure to the point of the Nabhi Chakra [image]. Nabhi Chakra is like a checkup point, while lying down on your back, (on an empty stomach) if you feel your heart beats when your press your thumb or finger on the navel, It tells you all is fine. If you cant feel your heart beats at your navel then there is some problem.

Another way to identify this is to lie on your back with your hands straight beside your body. Keep your toes upright. Ask someone to check your big toes of both the feet. If the toes are not level (i.e. the height of both the toes isn't equal) it indicates that there is some disturbance of the Nabhi Chakra.

Nabhi Chakra if not proper means it has either shifted up or down. Typically it happens when we lift huge weights or have too much gas in our abdomen. In such a case the heart beats will be felt either above the navel or below the navel instead of on the navel.
If the Nabhi Chakra has shifted upwards then the patient also has symptoms of constipation. While if the Nabhi Chakra has shifted downwards then the patient has symptoms of loose motion which are aggravated when there is pressure on the Nabhi Chakra. If the problem persists then this can damage the digestive system or even colon cancer (believed to be caused by regular constipation). Unfortunately there are no medical drugs to fix this problem. But Acupressure and Indian Vaidyas have a solution for this problem. The Nabhi Chakra is the main part of the body and if its not proper it will not give the desired results.

How does acupressure work?

There are some 900 points according to acupuncture. These are on the medians as shown below [image]. For a lay person to apply pressure or puncture these points isn't practical as it requires experience and lots of study. So after a great deal of study and research, the scholars of ancient India have come to an identification of the points on the palm of the hands and the feet. Based on the mapping of the organs in the body we have the points on either both the palms or soles or only on one palm and sole. For example Heart is there on the left hand side of the body hence the point for the heart is on the left palm and sole. Similarly the Liver is on the right hand side of the body and hence the point for the liver is only on the right hand and sole. So by applying pressure at these points we can send the chetna to the appropriate organs and hence get them back in order. We will learn later the techniques of applying pressure correctly.

Bio-electricity

The body consists of 5 basic elements viz
Water
Earth
Fire
Air
Space

All these are controlled by the bio-electricity. The positive charge of the bio-electricity is known as "chi" / "chit" and negative charge is known as "chen". This flowing of the charge is called "chetna", its present in the body from birth till death. This can be seen as a white dazzling light between the two eyes in the middle of the forehead when the eyes are closed and the person is in deep meditation.
The chetna flows from the tips of the hands to the head and then to the body and out through the toes of the appropriate hand. This is the reason why people in India take the blessings of the elders by touching their toes (where the chetna flows out of the body) with their fingers (where the chetna starts to flow). If for any reason the chetna doesn't reach any part of the body then there is malfunctioning in that part or pain. So if the current is resumed and send properly the pain would go away and the disease would be cured. Thus acupressure teaches us how to use the build in mechanism of the body of sending the chetna to the desired areas and thus cure them.

Body, the greatest wonder of the world

Body has lots of organs which help us sense the stuff around ourselves. For example, ears allow us to differentiate between different sounds, it even helps us identify the sound quality differences between audio cassettes and audio CDs, without this difference Bose speakers would be the same as some ordinary speakers. Eyes allow us to see and appreciate color, depth, beauty (even the harsh realities of life), It helps us "feel" 3D movies and colorful movies and cartoons. Heart and Lungs are never stopping pumps which when stopped means the end of the journey called life. Stomach an organ whose complexity comes only after our brain and which can withstand acid so strong to dissolve iron. Mind is a computer whose capacity is infinite. The best part of the body is the amazing coordination between the different organs of the body so that the body can last 60-70 years. So as with any good machine preventive stopping is also incorporated in the body. This is similar to the PC shutting down on overheating to prevent damage to the components. Nature has a build in mechanism to repair these organs and maintain them as the need be. This is via a therapy called acupressure which I consider the most precious gift.

This therapy was well known and practiced in India more than 3000 years ago and then later evolved into Acupuncture. Acupressure can be best understood by breaking the word into 2 parts. Acu and pressure. Acu means to remove toxins (and diseases). Thus acupressure means to remove the toxins by applying pressure.

A healthy mind lives in a healthy body.

There are a couple kinds of happiness, viz. Health, wealth, mental, emotional, etc. Health is considered more valuable amongst them for a simple reason as the other are secondary elements of happiness. If we are free from the worries of health then we can concentrate on our tasks. Consider a simple example, your productivity goes down drastically if you have a cold or a headache correct? So the absence of any ailments would help us achieve better productivity and hence satisfy the secondary elements of happiness. That's why we should look after our body and to take care of our body we need to understand the body better. Lets try to make the body more robust after learning about the body.

Introduction to Acupressure

Acupressure is a non medical health science based on bio-electricity and bio-energy. It works on similar principles of acupuncture but instead of puncturing the skin, we apply pressure on the points, Also the points unlike acupuncture are typically on the palm and soles. It helps in identifying diseases and taking preventive as well as curative actions. Acupressure helps in simulating the various organs of our body thus preventing diseases and taking preventive measures against diseases. It is easy to operate and simple to understand while having no side effects. Acupressure helps us cure / prevent advancement of cold, cough, migraines, diabetics, regulates blood pressure without any cost. It is suitable for all age groups.

Please note that this is NOT a replacement for emergency care, it should be used as a supplement for the existing treatments to act as a catalyst for quicker recovery for emergency / advance cases.
You need to use your discretion regarding the criticality of the case.
